I really love working with these old vintage tapestries, and I’m learning that it’s not just the main design that can create a cool and unique bag. The edge patterns are often so cool, too, and I’m have a lot of fun figuring out all kinds of different ways to use them. This is a medium sized zip top bag made from pieces of a velvet tapestry, appliquéd with reclaimed leather. The sides and back are also made with reclaimed leather, underlined and quilt stitched for strength. There is a phone pocket on the back, and two pockets inside. Fully lined with beautiful gold/ green brocade. Antiqued brass hardware throughout, with copper rivets on the strap. Tied on tassels. Such a unique and fun bag- lightweight, sturdy and comfortable.
